Job summary

Virtua seeks a licensed practitioner responsible for administering ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. You will perform a variety of radiologic procedures while ensuring patient safety and the highest image quality.

This part-time position rotates between various office locations, requiring thorough documentation and effective use of radiographic equipment. A commitment to the Virtua mission, vision, and values is essential.

The role requires graduation from an AMA accredited program and proper certifications, offering an hourly rate of $45 along with a sign-on bonus of $500.

Qualifications

• Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.)
• NJDEP licensure required
• CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures for all patient populations according to established protocols.
• Provide thorough and accurate documentation of procedures.
• Demonstrate effective use of radiographic equipment and computer systems.
• Assist in training new staff and student radiologic technologists.
