WVU Medicine's WVUH Imaging Outpatient Clinic is seeking a Radiology Technologist Level I to support diagnostic imaging across multiple areas. The role emphasizes patient care, image optimization, and safety while working within the Radiology Department framework.

The position requires ARRT Radiography certification, state licensure where applicable, and BLS within 30 days of hire. This on-site role involves coordinating with physicians, nurses, and students, and maintaining high quality imaging

Qualifications

ARRT Radiography certification required.
State licensure as applicable (WV required; others as applicable).
BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
Background check (state and federal as applicable).

Responsibilities

Rotates through Diagnostic areas (Fluoro, Mobiles, Routine, OR, Endoscopy, Orthopedics) to develop skills.
Performs imaging procedures based on patient status and imaging protocols.
Produce high-quality images with proper exposure and minimal patient radiation.
Explain procedures to patients and educate them about radiographic steps.
Coordinate daily workflow with clinical staff and supervise students as needed.
Adhere to ARRT ethics, WVUH policies, and Joint Commission guidelines.
