Job summary

WakeMed is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our imaging team. You will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment across ED, OR, inpatient, pediatrics, and outpatient settings.

The ideal candidate has graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, holds ARRT or equivalent credentials, and has 1 year of clinical radiology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate Radiologic Technology program completed.
• ARRT or equivalent credential required.
• 1 year of clinical radiology experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in varied patient care environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and produce high-quality images for physician review.
• Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and provide support during imaging.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort and communicate concerns to the care team.
• Operate, adjust, and maintain imaging equipment per protocols and radiation safety guidelines.
• Document patient information accurately and support efficient workflow across clinical areas.
