Aspirus St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth, MN is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our Diagnostic Radiology team. This position requires ARRT registration within 90 days of hire and completion of a two-year radiologic technology program.

You will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensure radiation safety, and support the department when not performing patient procedures. Sign-on bonus and full benefits are offered.

ASPIRUS ST. LUKE'S HOSPITAL in Duluth, MN is seeking a RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST to join our DIAGNOSTIC RADIOLOGY team!

Salary Range: $30.97 - $45.05 Hourly
Schedule/Hours: VARIED (ALL) SHIFTS, 8/ 12 hours
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
FTE: FULL TIME, 1.0 FTE or 80 Hours Biweekly

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic and surgical radiographic procedures; provide support services within the department when not performing patient procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: By the time of hire into position must be a graduate of a two (2) year accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Experience: N/A
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered Radiologic Technologist (R) from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within ninety (90) days of hire. Within ninety (90) days of hire, BLS Certification with a designation of either BLS Provider or Healthcare Provider from either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or Military Training Network.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Ability to function well in stressful situations, exercise good judgment, accept responsibility, and carry out assigned tasks. Knowledge of radiation safety practices.
  • READING - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • WRITING - Intermediate: Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, or procedures.
  • SPEAKING - Intermediate: Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group situations or before groups of customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Basic Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • REASONING ABILITY - Intermediate Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • AGE SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES: Skilled at assessment and knowledgeable of growth and development. Provides appropriate care respective to the ages of the patients served per clinical environment.
