Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Matthews, NC area. The role requires ARRT registered technologists, CPR certification, and a commitment to patient care and safety.

Work hours are typically 40 per week, Monday through Friday, with on-call coverage as needed. Applicants should be graduates of an approved Radiologic Technology program, with at least six months of diagnostic radiology experience and preferred patient care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum six months experience as a diagnostic Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• One year experience with patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital policies and promotes a cooperative work environment.
• Performs or assists diagnostic/therapeutic procedures per state radiation regulations.
• Maintains education, credentials, and readiness of equipment and supplies.
• Ensures accurate patient records and data entry of images.
• Provides instruction and consultation to health care personnel and patients.
• Provides emergency on-call coverage after hours as required.
• Delivers age-appropriate care per guidelines during patient care.
