Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist for on-site work in Leominster, MA. The role requires ARRT licensure/registry eligibility and CPR certification, with responsibilities including image acquisition, patient safety, and collaboration with physicians and nurses.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiological technology program.
• Registered by the ARRT or registry eligible; licensed in MA.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Monitor patient safety and observe ALARA principles.
• Explain procedures to patients in English; seek interpreter services if needed.
• Prepare/ administer contrast media as required.
• Position patients and optimize image quality following protocols.
• Record and transmit patient data to PACS; collaborate with care team.
