Cynet Health is seeking a Radiology - Rad Tech for a 13-week diagnostic imaging assignment in State College, PA. The role requires ARRT-R radiology licensure, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of experience in clinical radiology settings.

You'll prepare patients, position for exams, operate CR/Fluoro/DR equipment, and transfer images to PACS while upholding radiation safety and high-quality patient care on day shifts and occasional weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• One year of radiology experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot equipment problems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures.
• Perform diagnostic radiology procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Position patients and determine proper technique for views and examinations.
• Operate CR, Fluoro, and DR equipment safely and efficiently.
• Transfer images to PACS and route them for review.
• Maintain radiation safety for patients and staff.
