Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency across clinical and technical functions.
• Verify patient identity and prepare the patient for imaging.
• Perform exams per department protocol and review images for quality.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within time limits without compromising care or quality.
• Assist and instruct students and other radiology staff on protocols and positioning.
• Educate patients, ensure comfort, and address concerns.
• Practice infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Maintain accurate records and follow coding, charging, and QC protocols.
