Job summary

Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and related procedures while maintaining radiation safety and quality care.

The role supports OR case coverage and collaborates with the Diagnostic Imaging team to deliver high-quality images for interpretation. Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with Florida licensure, ARRT certification, and current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Florida radiologic technologist licensure.
• ARRT certification and BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy and/or physiology for interpretation and/or intervention.
• Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to quality care.
• Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
• Assesses the patient’s physical condition and age specific needs.
• Applies principles of radiation safety to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others.
• Assists in supervision of student technologists and training of new technologists.
• Utilizes radiology computer systems effectively and accurately.

Education

Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology

Florida radiologic technologist licensure

ARRT certification

BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
