Job summary

Live Well Homecare seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, supporting licensed practitioners in imaging activities while ensuring patient safety and proper documentation.

The role requires adherence to ALARA principles, proper equipment use, and collaboration with a healthcare team across varied clinical settings including operating rooms and ICU.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months.
• Strong understanding of radiologic procedures, patient care, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient information, ensure proper identification, and prepare for exams while maintaining confidentiality.
• Use imaging protocols, optimize factors, and apply ALARA principles to minimize exposure.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access under supervision.
• Evaluate image quality, verify data storage or transfer, and perform post-processing.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare team members.
• Assist with fluoroscopic and specialized radiologic procedures across settings including OR and ICU.
