Job summary

Baptist Health is hiring a Radiology Technologist for Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time daytime role runs Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, supporting diagnostic imaging in a faith-based nonprofit system.

The position requires BLS, CRT/ARRT credentials, and experience in hospital radiology; pediatric care and patient-forward service are emphasized in the duties.

Qualifications

• Vocational training in radiologic technology.
• BLS certification is required.
• CRT license (DOH) required or ARRT CI certification.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist credential required.
• RCIS is preferred for cardiovascular procedures.
• ARDT CI and related registrations may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic procedures.
• Maintain a positive, comforting demeanor with patients and colleagues.
• Report to the Lead Technologist on shift.
• Comply with mandatory education and health requirements.
• Comfortable with pediatric patients.
• Identify, prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed

Baptist Health is currently looking to add a Radiology Technologist to our Diagnostic Imaging Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL.

This is a Full-Time Days opportunity working Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Performing high-quality radiographic procedures
• Promoting goodwill amongst co-workers and with other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients
• Reporting to the Lead Technologist on shift
• Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements
• Comfortable with Pediatrics
• Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner, by state and federal regulations, or Lawful institutional policy

Experience Requirements

• Customer Service Experience preferred
• Radiology/Imaging Experience preferred
• Experience working in a hospital setting preferred

Education & Credential Requirements

• Vocational School
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - DOH Required Or
• Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography, ARRT (CI) Required Or
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT – ARRT Or
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) - CCI – Cardiovascular Preferred
