Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist for our Diagnostic Imaging Department in Jacksonville, FL. This PRN opportunity involves prepping rooms, positioning patients, and operating imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic images that guide clinical decisions.

You will work closely with nurses and physicians to ensure safe, accurate, and compassionate care for every patient, with required BLS and state/certified radiologic credentials as specified.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and radiology/imaging within a hospital setting is preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• CRT license from DOH is required or ARRT CI credential is acceptable; ARRT and RCIS credentials are also listed as options.

Responsibilities

• Performing high-quality radiographic procedures
• Promoting goodwill amongst co-workers and with other departments, and maintain a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients
• Reporting to the Lead Technologist on shift
• Complying with mandatory education and health requirements
• Comfortable with Pediatrics
• Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner, by state and federal regulations, or Lawful institutional policy

Baptist Health is currently looking to add a Radiology Technologist to our Diagnostic Imaging Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN opportunity.

As a Radiology Technologist, your day will consist of prepping rooms and positioning patients to capture clear diagnostic images that guide clinical decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with nurses and physicians, operate advanced imaging equipment, and ensure every patient receives safe, accurate, and compassionate care.

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities:
