Job Summary and Qualifications

Our imaging team is dedicated and caring. We seek a Florida-licensed Radiology Technologist for a full-time, part-time, PRN, or per diem role. You will take radiographs to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment, performing procedures accurately, compassionately, and respectfully.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Possessing thorough knowledge of diagnostic radiographic procedures and equipment, including surgical, portable, trauma, general, and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Obtaining high-quality images with proper markers, date, and time stickers.
• Selecting appropriate technical factors and assisting with contrast media administration when needed.
• Preparing, transferring, and positioning patients, ensuring modesty and safety.
• Documenting clinical information, obtaining informed consent, and completing all fields in MEDITECH accurately and timely.
• Maintaining effective communication with patients, colleagues, and radiologists.
• Checking equipment operation, maintaining cleanliness, and stocking supplies.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 24-month Radiologic Technology program at an AMA-approved school.
• Valid ARRT (R) certification.
• Active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
• Current BLS certification.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist, preferably in an acute-care hospital.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
