Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital is seeking a Reg Radiology Technologist to join the Radiology team. The role involves operating X-ray equipment, positioning patients, and capturing high-quality images for radiologist interpretation.

Shifts are days, 7:00am-3:30pm, with on-call duties including 2 Saturdays, 1 Sunday per month and 2 holidays per year. Sign-on bonus eligible up to $2,500; may float to CCF Mentor location.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Technologist credentialed by ARRT and in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
• Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain documentation.
• Address equipment malfunctions, notify management and report malfunctions to the help desk and PACS administrator.
• Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor and determine priority of patients, and process billing.
