Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in Pearland, Texas is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiography exams and support high-quality patient care. This role typically involves 40 hours per week with an 8-hour shift and ongoing employment as Staff.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, BLS/CPR, active MRT license in Texas, and ARRT-R certification.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Licenses/Certification: BLS, MRT license (TX), ARRT-R.
• Experience / Knowledge / Skills: Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients with assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiography (x-ray) exams on patients and ensures image quality and safety.
• Prepares patients, records vital signs, positions for exam, and explains procedures.
• Ensures compliance with radiation safety procedures and QA on radiology equipment.
• May assist with initial/renewal applications for accreditation and participate in department tasks.
• Takes emergency call within the department; may work weekends and float to other locations.
