Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Nevada is hiring a Registered Radiology Technologist to operate various x-ray equipment and provide physicians with imaging to aid diagnosis. You will help create a welcoming, healing environment for patients during exams.

The role involves performing general radiology, portable and fluoroscopic procedures, maintaining images via PACS, and supporting scheduling and billing. Day shifts with two time options are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Technologist by ARRT in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• BLS Certification through AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
• Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding.
• Maintain documentation.
• Address equipment malfunctions, notify management and report to the help desk/PACS administrator.
• Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor patient priority and process billing.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology

Registered Technologist by ARRT in good standing

Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
