Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital is hiring a Registered Radiology Technologist to operate diverse x-ray equipment, including stationary units, mobile machines, C-arms and fluoroscopy, providing physicians with diagnostic images.

This role supports a calm, healing environment for patients and offers access to imaging education programs. Shifts are days (7:00am–3:30pm or 8:30am–5:00pm) with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Technologist by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
• Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain documentation.
• Address equipment malfunctions and notify management/PACS administrator.
• Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor and prioritize patients, and process billing.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology

Registered Technologist by ARRT

Current state licensure as Radiology Technologist

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
