Job summary

AdventHealth in Rome, GA is seeking a radiologic technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain high-quality documentation in EMR and PACS. The role requires ARRT RT(R) certification and strong ALARA practice.

You will work in a full-time daytime schedule with call requirements, and collaborate with clinicians to support safe, efficient imaging workflows. CPR and state licensure are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ARRT RT(R) required.
• Radiologic technologist license and CPR training preferred.
• One year post-certification experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak conversational English.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic imaging procedures, producing high-quality diagnostic images meeting standards.
• Positions patients and equipment to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Provides direct patient care during imaging procedures with emphasis on safety and privacy.
• Maintains documentation in EMR/PACS and ensures radiation safety.
