Job summary

AdventHealth Parker, CO is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging, ensure high image quality, and maintain ALARA safety practices in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have ARRT(R) certification, CPR, and 1+ year radiology experience, with strong patient communication and teamwork. This full-time role offers benefits from day one and opportunities for modality cross-training.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Diagnostic Radiological Procedures/Positions.
• One year post certification experience required to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers.
• Ability to analyze data and ensure accurate information.
• Up-to-date knowledge of patient positioning and radiology equipment operations.
• Ability to communicate with patients, staff and physicians clearly.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, providers and staff.
• Operate radiographic equipment safely to complete procedures.
• Deliver direct patient care within technologist scope and monitor patient condition.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and safety checks on equipment.
• Record and document information accurately in EMR/PACS.
• Assist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and privacy.
• Cross-train into advanced modalities as needed.
