Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety in a fast-paced setting. You will operate radiographic equipment, position patients, and document results in the EMR and PACS.

The role requires ARRT certification, 1+ year experience (preferred), and strong communication with diverse teams. This PRN/day shift position offers on-site work in Altamonte Springs, FL with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv required and ARRT certification preferred.
• 1+ year experience in radiology or as student radiographer preferred.
• Must maintain all required registries and licenses for Diagnostic Imaging.
• Ability to operate radiographic equipment and ensure image quality while keeping ALARA principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic imaging procedures meeting department standards.
• Move and position patients and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and ensure equipment safety checks.
• Document patient information accurately in EMR and PACS.
• Provide patient comfort, safety and privacy during procedures.
• Cross-train into advanced modalities as needed.
