Join our team as a Radiology Technologist CT at Olmsted Medical Center
We are hiring for a PRN position working days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Starting wage ranges from $34.33 to $42.91, depending on experience.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technologist Program
- Licensed by the ARRT and in good standing with CE's
- Registered by the ARRT in CT or within 18 months of CT training
- 50% of shifts in CT
- Prior experience preferred
- Flexible to work overtime as needed
- Understanding of age-related developmental issues
Responsibilities:
- Identify patients and review requisitions
- Record data accurately on requisitions
- Screen patients needing contrast using the Radiology Contrast Questionnaire
- Review patient history to assist with proper exam protocol
- Perform daily QC and document findings
- Assist with CT accreditation processes
- Ensure patient safety and proper use of restraints/support devices
- Review exams for technical accuracy and communicate with care team
- Identify anatomical orientation and proper film identification
- Coordinate examinations to ensure quality and workflow efficiency
- Use computer systems for documentation and patient information
- Explain procedures to patients to facilitate cooperation
- Perform file librarian and transporter duties as needed
- Monitor supplies and notify supervisor when low
- Follow radiation safety procedures
- Prepare and administer contrast media safely
- Review lab results for contrast safety in collaboration with radiologist
- Perform venipuncture with high accuracy
- Document and deliver radiology reports accurately
- Perform other duties as assigned
