Base Pay Range

$30.00/hr - $46.00/hr

Sign-on Bonus: $20,000

Work Hours and Location

Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, with every third weekend 8:30 am - 4:00 pm. The position involves floating to Bloomingdale and covering evening shifts as needed, including holidays and travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostic CT procedures, from inception to completion, under radiologist supervision.
• Perform routine CTs and CTAs, take accurate patient histories, and start IVs for contrast administration.
• Maintain a positive environment and serve as a liaison between patients and radiologists.
• Ensure quality control, accurate paperwork, and adherence to safety standards, including radiation safety.
• Provide quality images to radiologists, interact professionally with staff and patients, and maintain technical competency through ongoing education.
• Administer contrast agents following protocols, review and explain procedures, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure quality assurance and confidentiality.
• Maintain current licensure and certifications, including IEMA license, ARRT registration, and BLS certification.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Minimum Education and Experience

• Graduate from an accredited radiology technology program.
• ARRT Registered Technologist, RT(CT), and current IEMA license.
• BLS certification (CPR, AED for adults and pediatrics).
• At least one year of CT-related experience or training preferred.
