Job summary

Northwest Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist I for a day shift. You will obtain diagnostic radiographic images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort and complying with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include imaging, radiation safety, patient prep, and coordination with radiologists. ARRT certification, state license, and BLS are required; 0–1 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of radiologic imaging techniques, patient positioning and radiation safety.
• Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment and troubleshooting.
• Excellent patient-care and communication skills for procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality radiographic procedures independently while maintaining diagnostic-quality images.
• Follows ALARA guidelines to minimize exposure and participates in Image Gently/Weisely programs.
• Prepares patients, verifies orders, and explains procedures for comfort and understanding.
• Maintains equipment cleanliness and organization and ensures supplies are ready for procedures.
• Documents procedures in PACS and communicates with staff and physicians.
