Job summary

Northwest Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist I to obtain diagnostic radiographic images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. This PRN role supports efficient operations and patient care within the radiology department.

The position requires 0-1 years of clinical radiologic technologist experience, ARRT certification, state licensure as applicable, and BCLS within 30 days of hire. Strong imaging and patient-care skills are essential.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required.
• State license as applicable is required.
• BCLS certification within 30 days of hire is required.
• Strong knowledge of radiography techniques and positioning.
• Ability to operate EHR/RIS systems.
• Excellent patient-care and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic procedures independently.
• Adhere to ALARA and radiation safety programs.
• Prepare patients, verify orders, and obtain two identifiers.
• Maintain imaging equipment and supplies.
• Document images and related data in PACS.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
• Identify and mitigate imaging artifacts.
