Job description

**Essential Functions:*** Demonstrates competency in positioning of all radiological procedures as prescribed by departmental policy.* Communicates with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, confirm acknowledgment of patients' understanding and address any questions or concerns.* Positions patients and selects exposure factors for various radiologic examinations and provides patient with radiation protection and safety in accordance with prescribed methods.* Logs radiological procedures completed, processes charges and related paperwork using computer equipment as directed.* Maintains cleanliness of examination rooms and stocks necessary medical and/or radiological supplies in the department. Compliance with all OrthoCarolina policy and procedures.* Assists with the transportation of patients between the examination module(s) and the Radiology department.
