Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an accredited school of Radiology Technology is required.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.
• Basic computer experience required.
• BLS Certification is required.
• Non-Certified Radiology Technician (NCT) by Texas Medical Board (TMB) required.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of CHRISTUS Health competencies.
• Performs diagnostic procedures using imaging equipment in more than one modality.
• Rotate within departments for proper coverage as needed.
• Program computer to ensure exam data is stored in PACS after procedures.
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and compliant with infection control standards.
• Coordinate procedures to maintain high patient care and continuity.
• Ensure charges are correctly coded and entered in the billing system.
