Qualifications

• ARRT radiography certification and Ohio license are required.
• Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiographic, fluoroscopic, mobile and digital acquisition equipment to complete diagnostic procedures.
• Determines proper technical factors to produce acceptable images for diagnosis.
• Follows radiation protection and safety policies.
• Assists physicians during imaging procedures as required.
• Prepares, assists, and administers contrast media under physician direction.
• Uses HIS/RIS/PACS to process and distribute patient information.
• Assists in transporting patients to and from the department.
• Provides education/info to patients and families.
• Involves in clinical training of radiology students with supervision and evaluation as required.
• Assumes call status during off hours for emergencies.
• Participates in QA/QC activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
