Job summary

Genesis HealthCare System in Ohio is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures with care and efficiency. You will ensure diagnostic quality and follow safety policies while supporting physicians and students.

You must be ARRT registered in radiography and Ohio-licensed, with strong communication and multitasking abilities in a dynamic imaging environment. This is a full-time position with varied shifts and hospital-based duties.

Qualifications

• Registered by ARRT in radiography and licensed by the State of Ohio in Radiology.
• Competence in all diagnostic radiographic procedures performed at this facility.
• Excellent interpersonal, decision‑making, facilitation, conflict resolution skills.
• Strong listening, verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in a changing environment.
• Computer skills and knowledge of imaging and clinical information systems, including PACS/RIS/HIS.

Responsibilities

• Operates imaging equipment to complete diagnostic radiology procedures.
• Produces acceptable images by selecting proper technical factors.
• Follows radiation protection and safety policies.
• Assists physicians in radiographic imaging procedures as required.
• Prepares and administers contrast media under physician direction.
• Uses HIS/RIS/PACS to process and access procedure information.
• Transports patients to and from the department as needed.
• Participates in patient education and clinical training of radiology students.
