Job summary

Genesis HealthCare System in Ohio seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures for diverse patients. The role involves education of patients and families, collaboration with the imaging team, and potential on-call duties to support emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• Registered by the ARRT in radiography and licensed by the State of Ohio.
• Competent in all diagnostic radiographic procedures performed at this facility.
• CPR certification.
• Experience with computer systems used for electronic imaging and clinical information management.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiographic, fluoroscopic, mobile and digital imaging equipment for diagnostic procedures.
• Determines proper technical factors to produce quality images for each patient.
• Adheres to radiation protection and safety policies.
• Assists physicians during radiographic procedures as needed.
• Uses HIS/RIS/PACS to access and distribute patient information.
• Participates in patient transport and education.
