Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registration in Diagnostic Radiology within twelve months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Abides by compliance requirements and policies and performs duties ethically and with integrity.
• Operates radiology equipment and adjusts technical factors to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Greet and prepare patients, verify identity, and ensure safety protocols including infection control.
• Assist Radiologist during procedures and prepare C-arm exams in OR and other settings, including GI lab or ICU.
• Review orders and prior imaging to ensure appropriate exam is performed and images are ready for physician review on PACS.
