Job summary

UPMC is hiring Radiology Technologists to support multiple walk-in locations within 5 to 15 minutes from the hospital. This full-time float role includes on-call, holiday, and weekend coverage.

You'll work with radiologists and imaging staff to provide essential visualizations for accurate diagnoses. Ideal candidates have ARRT certification in Radiography, CPR/BLS, and at least 2 years of diagnostic imaging experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT-certified in Radiography; CPR/BLS as required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiologic imaging to support accurate diagnosis across multiple locations.

In this role, you'll collaborate with a dynamic group of radiologists and imaging techs to provide essential visualizations for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

This position will work as a float and will support all walk-in locations within 5 to 15 minutes from the hospital, including on call, holiday and weekend coverage. Works from 28 to 40 hours per week depending on staffing needs.

• Candidates with less experience will be considered and placed as a Diagnostic Technologist.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

ARRT certified in Radiography. CPR or BLS Required. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• ARRT Certificate
• Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
• Act 33 with renewal
• Act 34 with renewal
• Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
