Job summary

Boston Medical Center Brighton is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our team, delivering high-quality radiologic services with a focus on patient dignity and safety.

The role requires completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program, MA state license or temporary license with ARRT certification or eligible, and BLS. You will position patients, select appropriate films, and maintain workflow under the Technical Manager to ensure accurate, timely imaging.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Knowledge level expected from a Radiologic Technology program.
• Associate degree in radiologic technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Selects type and number of films to provide required diagnostic information.
• Prepares and positions patients relative to diagnostic equipment with accuracy.
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of the working area.
• Manages patient flow and ensures quality of films under supervision.
• Operates radiographic equipment with radiation safety in mind.
• Maintains professional demeanor with patients and staff.
• Performs duties to support patient care including clerical and transport tasks.
• Assists Technical Manager with daily processor/film sensitometry.
• Completes patient tracking for billing, transcription, and film retrieval.
