Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join Medstar Union Memorial Hospital in Maryland. The ideal candidate will be a registered Radiology Technologist with a Maryland license and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Registered Radiology Technologist (ARRT) with license in Maryland
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Associate degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Develops film and evaluates technical quality of images.
• Transports patients and prepares radiology room.
• Obtains patient history and vital signs and documents results.
• Creates CDs from PACS and manages data access and storage.
• Performs radiographic examinations and assists with fluoroscopic/procedural work as allowed by state statutes.
• Maintains equipment and inventories supplies.
