Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including EKGs and phlebotomy, while obtaining vital signs and patient history. You will develop films, manage equipment, and support quality improvement initiatives.

The role requires ARRT registration and Maryland licensure, with a preference for an Associate's degree. A limited-time sign-on bonus of $10,000 is available.

Qualifications

• ARRT radiology registration required (Maryland license required)
• Associate's degree preferred
• Prior work experience not required

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Develop film and evaluate film quality.
• Obtain patient history and vital signs; answer questions.
• Maintain equipment and room; perform scheduled maintenance and create CDs from PACS.
• Transport patients to radiology room; prepare the room.
• Participate in quality and service improvement teams.
• Order and manage supplies; monitor drug stock.
• Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic interventions as needed.
