Shift : Night 10, Monday-Thursday, 7 : 30 PM to 6 : 30 AM, 5x8 Hr

Job Description :

• Perform radiographic procedures to achieve desired radiographic results as per physician specifications.
• Transfer patients for examinations and use ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
• Assist with the X-ray examination process.
• Operate all X-Ray Imaging and related equipment appropriately.
• Educate, position, immobilize, and perform X-Ray procedures on patients.
• Coordinate X-Ray examinations to ensure timeliness, quality, and continuity of patient care.
• Follow provider imaging orders correctly.
• Submit required images and related clinical information for Radiologist interpretation.
• Evaluate image quality appropriately.
• Maintain open, accurate, and responsive communication with patients, coworkers, Radiologists, and leadership.
• Utilize, charge, and maintain department supplies appropriately.
• Practice sterile technique and follow infection prevention policies.
• Handle multiple tasks / projects and meet deadlines effectively.
• Safely perform X-Ray procedures including patient transfer.
• Prepare and administer contrast according to Radiologist protocol.
• Follow Radiation Safety Measures (ALARA) to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
• Supervise and evaluate Student Radiographers in the clinical setting.
