Perform all Diagnostic Procedures listed in the Procedure Manual, from Routine to highly Traumatic Injury Patient Procedures, under the direction of the Lead Tech and Physician. Execute a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative for radiologic diagnosis. Responsible for billing patient procedures and distributing images for each exam performed.
Position Scope: Conduct Routine, OR, and Trauma radiologic tests, utilizing radiologic imaging skills to treat patients. Explain procedures in layperson's terms, confirm understanding, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure. Operate and maintain specialized medical imaging equipment, report malfunctions, and interact effectively with patients, physicians, and hospital staff across all hospital units and clinics.

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :
Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology school, with at least 24 months of general radiologic experience preferred.
Current Texas Medical Board MRT Licensure/Certification and BLS CPR Certification required.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, perform diverse diagnostic procedures, including portable, OR, fluoroscopic, and trauma procedures.
Extensive interaction with hospital units, clinics, physicians, and radiologists is required.
Must be physically and emotionally fit, capable of standing, walking, lifting, and visual acuity.
Frequent exposure to radiation, low light, high-pressure situations, and hospital environment risks.
