Job summary

OrthoArizona is hiring a Radiologic Technologist to join their team in Scottsdale, AZ. This role offers an energetic work environment with a starting pay of $30.00 to $40.00 per hour and a sign-on bonus of $1,000. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures and taking x‑rays in compliance with established safety procedures. Qualifications

• 1–2 years Radiology experience, preferably in a busy orthopedic practice or hospital.
• Completion of an approved American College of Radiology Technologist Program.
• Certificate of Medical Imaging Modality by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Arizona State license: Medical Radiologic Technologist Board of Examiners (MRTBE).
• Maintain CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures.
• Explain all procedures to patients, ensuring all of their questions are answered.
• Protect patients from unnecessary exposure to radiation by utilizing shielding equipment.
• Take x‑rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Document patient care services in chart.

What to Expect as a Radiology Tech with OrthoArizona

This role does not require you to perform Fluoroscopy or be involved in surgery.

Pay

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule

8‑hour shifts, no weekends, no major holidays, no on‑call

Location

Sign‑On Bonus

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures.
• Explain all procedures to patients, ensuring all of their questions are answered.
• Protect patients from unnecessary exposure to radiation by utilizing shielding equipment.
• Take x‑rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Document patient care services in chart.
• Import outside imaging to office PACS.
• Scan documents into EMR.
• Maintain accurate QC logs and service records, monitor dosimetry badges, and other requirements as per state and federal regulations.
• Ensure equipment is in working order, maintain radiology supplies and report any malfunctions.
