Radiologic Technologist
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, no weekends, no major holidays, no on-call
Location: Phoenix (Deer Valley), AZ
Sign On Bonus: $1,000 sign-on bonus ($500 after 45 days, $500 after 90 days)

Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures.
- Explain all procedures to patients ensuring all of their questions are answered.
- Protect patients from unnecessary exposure to radiation by utilizing shielding equipment.
- Take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
- Document patient care services in chart.
- Import outside imaging to office PACS.
- Scan documents into EMR.
- Maintain accurate QC logs and service records, maintain and monitor dosimetry badges, etc. as required by state and federal regulations.
- Ensure equipment is in working order, maintain radiology supplies and report any malfunctions.
Qualifications
- 1 – 2 years Radiology, preferably in a busy orthopedic practice or hospital.
- Completion of approved American College of Radiology Technologist Program.
- Certificate of Medical Imaging Modality by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
- Arizona State license Medical Radiologic Technologist Board of Examiners (MRTBE).
- Maintain CPR certification.
