Position Summary:

Registered Radiology Tech will perform diagnostic procedures in an outpatient setting.

Location:

All Children's Hospital, St. Petersburg, FL

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Requirements:

• Counsels patients on radiographic examinations.
• Lifts and correctly positions patients for radiographic results.
• Determines technical factors based on patient specifics.
• Adjusts lead shields to protect unaffected areas.
• Selects and loads proper film, operates equipment as per procedures.
• Operates portable X-ray and special equipment like tomography.
• Verifies all documentation and records.
• Processes film, reviews for quality, maintains equipment.
• Transport patients as needed, maintains a clean work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma and completion of an AMA-accredited Radiography program.
• Florida State Radiography License.
• ARRT Certification.
• BLS CPR certification; PALS and NRP are a plus.
