Shriners Children's in Portland, OR is seeking a PRN Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic procedures for pediatric patients in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will work closely with radiologists and physicians to ensure accurate images and patient safety.

Required qualifications include completion of an accredited Radiology program, Oregon OBMI license, ARRT certification, high school diploma or GED, and BLS.

Job Description

We currently have an opening for a PRN Radiology Technologist to join our Portland, OR team. Radiologic technologists are medical personnel who perform imaging procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of patients in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff in a fast-paced setting
• Maintain a high standard of safety, compliance, and patient satisfaction
• Responsible for a correctively positioning patients and ensuring that a quality radiographic image is produced
• Works closely with radiologists and physicians who interpret images to either diagnose or rule out disease or injury
• Demonstrates professional role requirements related to communication with peers and supervisor and flexibility during unexpected work-related events
• Maintains on going- plan for personal growth and self-development

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
• Oregon state license (OBMI)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year experience in pediatric/orthopedic radiology

Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
