Shriners Children’s in Portland, OR is seeking a PRN Radiology Technologist to perform imaging procedures for pediatric patients, in a fast-paced clinical setting. The role requires accurate patient positioning, safety and quality imaging, and collaboration with radiologists.

Qualified candidates will have high school diploma or GED, graduation from an accredited radiology program, Oregon state license (OBMI) and ARRT, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program.
• Oregon state license (OBMI) and ARRT certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ARRT certification preferred or required depending on role.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff in a fast-paced setting.
• Maintain a high standard of safety, compliance, and patient satisfaction.
• Position patients correctly to produce a quality radiographic image.
• Work closely with radiologists and physicians who interpret images.
• Demonstrate professional behavior and flexibility during unexpected events.
• Maintain ongoing plans for personal growth and self-development.
