Job summary

Mass General Brigham’s Newton-Wellesley Hospital seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging with fluoroscopic, portable, and other radiographic equipment. You will confirm patient and exam details, adjust equipment, and ensure LV images are correctly labeled and sent to PACS.ARRT certification is required within 90 days of hire.

The role includes 12-hour shifts, a $20,000 sign-on bonus, free parking, and benefits starting day one.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered technologist required or must obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Radiography education credentials as listed in the qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Confirms correct patient and exam through interview and records.
• Explains exam to patient considering language needs and comfort.
• Adjusts imaging equipment and selects technical factors for safe imaging.
• Performs requested imaging and follows department protocol and radiologist instructions.
• Ensures exams are labeled correctly and transmitted to PACS.

Explains safety protocols, exams, and procedures to patients. Operates fluoroscopic, portable, diagnostic, and other equipment as required. Works as an independent contributor and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Engages in additional duties as assigned.
