Job summary

HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is seeking a dynamic Radiology Technologist to join our team in Kissimmee, Florida. The primary function involves performing X‑rays on patients while triaging and providing additional patient care services. This position requires collaboration with a supportive team that behaves like family.

Qualifications

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Accredited by ARRT.
  • Licensed by the state of Florida.
  • Two years of clinical experience in a related field preferred.

Job description

  • Perform accurate X‑rays as ordered by the provider while practicing radiation safety precautions, including ALARA.
  • Prepare and transmit images to the radiologist for over‑read.
  • Room patients, including taking and recording vital signs and patient history.
  • Assist patients and providers with walking, transfer, specimen collection, exam prep, and related tasks.
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
  • Transport patients as needed.
Qualifications
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Accredited by ARRT.
  • Licensed by the state of Florida.
