Cape Cod Orthopaedics Physical Therapy in Hyannis, MA is seeking a qualified X-ray Technician to join our orthopedic team. The candidate will prepare patients, perform radiographs, and help maintain radiology equipment with strict safety and quality controls.

We value attention to detail, teamwork, and strong communication with physicians and staff. Per diem, in-person role with hourly pay up to $42 depending on experience; licensure as a Radiologic Technologist is required.

Competenze

• Graduated from Radiologic Technologist program and holds valid license.
• Knowledge of medical practice and terminology, processes, and procedures
• Ability to use sound logic and professional judgment and act calmly during emergencies.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and nonverbally.
• Knowledge of digital imaging
• Knowledge of electronic health records (eClinicalWorks & Epic preferred)

Position Summary

Busy orthopedic practice looking for qualified X-ray Technicians to join our team. An ideal candidate is a courteous, intelligent, hard-working, detail-oriented, team player with previous orthopedic experience.

Position Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by providers.
• Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain and document daily quality control of radiology equipment at the start of shift.
