Cape Cod Orthopaedics Physical Therapy is seeking a qualified X-ray Technician to join our busy orthopedic practice in Hyannis. The ideal candidate is courteous, detail-oriented, and able to work as part of a collaborative team while maintaining the highest patient care standards.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, taking radiographs, ensuring equipment safety, and maintaining daily quality control.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Radiologic Technologist program with a valid license.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, processes, and procedures.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and remain calm during emergencies.
• Strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with digital imaging and EHR systems (eClinicalWorks & Epic preferred).

Busy orthopedic practice looking for qualified X-ray Technicians to join our team. An ideal candidate is a courteous, intelligent, hard-working, detail-oriented, team player with previous orthopedic experience.

Position Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by providers.
• Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain and document daily quality control of radiology equipment at the start of shift.
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduated from Radiologic Technologist program and holds valid license.
• Knowledge of medical practice and terminology, processes, and procedures
• Ability to use sound logic and professional judgment and act calmly during emergencies.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and nonverbally.
• Knowledge of digital imaging
• Knowledge of electronic health records (eClinicalWorks & Epic preferred)

Pay: $42.00+ per hour with experience
