Job summary

Cape Cod Healthcare is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join their team. Job description

Join to apply for the Radiology Technologist role at Cape Cod Healthcare.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Set up equipment and prepare patients for examinations.
  2. Select appropriate transducers for procedures.
  3. Review patient history and clinical data to assist diagnosis.
  4. Position patients and adjust immobilization devices for optimal views.
  5. Explain procedures to patients and address questions to reduce anxiety.
  6. Ensure patient safety and comfort during ultrasound procedures.
  7. Manage supplies, equipment, and departmental records.
  8. Evaluate ultrasound image quality.
  9. Assist with specialized ultrasound procedures and biopsies.
  10. Participate in educational activities and maintain knowledge of hospital policies.
  11. Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards.
  12. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
  • Registered by ARRT or eligible.
  • Licensed by the State of Massachusetts.
  • BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
  • ARRT registration within 1 year of employment.

Additional details:

  • 40 hours per week, various shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Primarily based at Cape Cod Hospital and Fontaine.
  • Sign-On Bonus eligible.
