Job summary

South Shore Orthopedics is hiring an X-Ray Technologist (RT) for a full-time role at two convenient locations in Hingham, MA and Abington, MA. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with care focused on patients and orthopedic imaging.

As part of a collaborative team, you will produce high-quality X-ray images, assist with surgical imaging prep, and support physicians and staff while maintaining EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification (or eligible).
• Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license (if required).
• One year of radiology experience in orthopedic or outpatient setting preferred.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic X-ray images.
• Prepare and organize imaging for surgical cases.
• Assist, instruct, and escort patients throughout their visit.
• Monitor patient flow to ensure an efficient clinic experience.
• Work closely with physicians during procedures, including assisting with dressing and cast removal as directed.
• Support fellow clinical staff as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow and patient experience.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR.

What You'll Do

As an X-Ray Technologist, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care by:

• Producing high-quality diagnostic X-ray images

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
