• 1 year of clinical experience while in AA program for Radiologic Technology.
• Fluoroscopy Permit and Venipuncture certificate within 180 days of hire.

Job description

Under the direction of a staff radiologist, prepares patients for diagnostic radiographic images for use in the diagnosis of our patients. Operates imaging equipment, processes CR cassettes, prepares exam rooms, and maintains equipment, supplies, and contrast. Images wisely following ALARA department policies. Is able to transport patients to and from the department safely and efficiently. Assists in the Departmental quality improvement program as directed and assigned. Available for standby as required, and performs other related duties as appropriate and assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• California Radiologic Technologist license upon hire.
• National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Fluoroscopy Permit and Venipuncture certificate.
• 1 year of Clinical experience while in AA program for Radiologic Technology.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluoroscopy and Venipuncture certificates (for Mammography Rad Tech) upon hire.
