Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic examinations under physician supervision. The role requires a graduate of a recognized Radiologic Technology program and CT licensure, with ARRT registration or eligibility and timely completion of the ARRT exam.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized program in Radiologic Technology; Associates degree preferred.
• Connecticut State Licensure to practice radiologic technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; ARRT certification required or registry eligible and pass within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Generate radiographic examinations using diagnostic radiographic equipment under physician or radiologist direction.
• Provide patient care appropriate to the age of patients served and assess data to identify patient requirements.

Position Purpose

The staff member is responsible for generating radiographic examinations utilizing diagnostic radiographic equipment under the direction of the ordering physician and/or radiologist.

What you will do

• The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements.

• Education : Graduate of a recognized program in Radiologic Technology. Associates Degree preferred.
