Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a part-time radiologic technologist to generate radiographic examinations under physician and radiologist supervision.

The successful candidate will demonstrate age-appropriate patient care, operate radiographic equipment, and maintain quality imaging while adhering to ARRT standards. Connecticut licensure is required, and ARRT certification with 90-day eligibility is expected after hire.

Qualifications

• Graduates of a recognized program in Radiologic Technology.
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• Connecticut state licensure required.
• ARRT certification required; Registry eligible candidates must pass ARRT within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Generate radiographic examinations using diagnostic radiographic equipment under the direction of the ordering physician and/or radiologist.
• Demonstrate knowledge of caring for patients across the lifespan and assess patient data to determine individual requirements.

Position Purpose

The staff member is responsible for generating radiographic examinations utilizing diagnostic radiographic equipment under the direction of the ordering physician and/or radiologist.

What you will do

• The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient\'s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient\'s requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education : Graduate of a recognized program in Radiologic Technology. Associates Degree preferred.
• Licensure : Connecticut State Licensure
• Certification : Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Registry eligible candidates must pass ARRT exam within 90 days of hire.
